The Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its
seventh set of polls for 2008, and we apologize for the delay in
getting them to you (the Internet was out at the office Tuesday, making
it rather difficult to post things on the, um, Internet).

Penn
is your new No. 1 in Class 4A, moving up from a tie for third with
former No. 1 Carmel to bypass last week’s leader, Crown Point. The
other three top teams – Andrean (3A), Wapahani (2A), and Frontier (1A)
– all maintain their status atop the polls.

GT Rankings: Park Tudor, Munster, Carmel 1-2-3 heading to sectionals

The Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association has released its
sixth and final girls tennis poll of the 2008 regular season, and all
10 teams that comprised the Top 10 last week are back again as we head
to sectional play May 15.

Park
Tudor, which finishes the regular season by leading from wire to wire,
paces a first five that consists of Munster, Carmel, Jasper, and
Zionsville. The schools rounding out the bottom portion of the Top 10
are Indianapolis Cathedral, Center Grove, Brebeuf, Terre Haute South,
and Columbus North.
